Making the big coins

Profiting off seasonal promotions and special events:

Marked awareness and anticipation is key to making huge profits. Keep yourself updated on upcoming promotions and events. Much of the information can be found on various forums such as Muthead or /r/MaddenMobileForums. Many cards are widely available during certain events, but become rare once promotions end, and thereby increasing the value. Other promotions require certain pre existing cards, which will increase once the event starts.

For instance, it was widely speculated that the team MVP cards would require elite trophies. Before the event began, elite trophies were selling for 8k, but once the event began, they were selling for 15 to 30k. Having stacked 100 elite trophies would allow you to build 98 Deion Sanders, which sold for more than 3mil at the time of release, even though the 100 elite trophies only cost about 800k.

Likewise, the road to the Playoffs road signs were in high supply during its first stint, and Signature players were easy to build. Many of the Signature players were selling for 100-200k despite their high rating. But as the events ended and the supply of signs were cut off, the signs started to increase in price significantly. Be aware that players that are built on limited time events will likely only increase in value.

Sniping elites

Sniping is difficult when it comes to high end cards, because you're competing with hundreds of other players and thousands of bots. But should you happen to stumble upon a great deal, then you're standing to make a big profit. The only way to make this work efficiently is to outsmart everyone else by having a good filter.

Slow - but consistent - coin making

The slow way of making coins requires you to put in the time and work. There are several ways to make coins slowly, but without having to risk anything and knowing that you're slowly building your bank. There are many great ways to do so, and here's a few

Trophy Packs

6 and 10 trophy packs are a great way to make coins, but this method requires you to be aware of the fluctuating marked prices of trophies, and adjusting your BIN limit for players. Currently, silver trophies sell for about 1.5-2k while golds sell for about 4k. In my experience, this allows you to buy silver players for 400 each, or golds for 700 to make a steady profit. Buying a high volume of players in the auction house can be a pain in the butt, so it requires a lot of time and finger strength to bid on or snipe these players. My experience is that about 30 minutes work profits about 30 to 60 k.

Another option is to buy a whole lot of bronze players for 100 (you wont have to compete with anyone to get them) and make the 2 trophy pack (or alternatively, turn them into silvers) and hope for some luck.

Buying and reselling high volume items

Some items, mainly trophies, are always on high demands. Sniping these items are quite easy because of the large volume available. Set the BIN price 500-100 lower than what you know you can sell them for.

Live event grinding

Grind all the weekly live events (Game changers, Veterans, Free agents, Trophy event, road to riches, road to the ring etc.). Road to the ring guarantees you elite players that you can sell for a good buck while game changers, vets and free agents have a decent drop rate of elites that sell well. Trophy events and road to riches can be frustrating, but will give you a small profit by the end of the day. The live events also gives you a good amount of exp, and remember that leveling up gives a good amount of coins.
