We've been receiving a high quantity of questions regarding the release of Madden Mobile 17. Simply, when does Madden Mobile 17 come out? Simple, expect Madden Mobile 17 to be released mid-to-late August. That's been the release date of the earlier versions, and we see no reasons for that to change this year either.
What does the release of Madden Mobile 17 mean for the current game (Madden Mobile 16)?
Madden Mobile 16 will become Madden Mobile 17. You'll not be able to play the 16 version anymore as the app will become 17, unlike with Fifa Mobile.
Madden Mobile will also close down the Auction House a few days prior to the release of Madden Mobile 17.
What changes will Madden Mobile 17 have compared to the 16 version?
Don't expect any new features! The 17 version will likely just be a revamped version of 16 with new graphics, menu- and card design. There might be a few new feature, but don't expect anything major. Just a few minor fixes and tweaks.

Madden Mobile Gridiron Packs
We're nearing the end of the Madden Mobile 2016 season and nearing the 2017 season. That means that EA are revamping the last packs and promotions of the season and that includes Gridiron packs. Last season, the Gridiron packs were well received with good pulls and easy coin making.
So we should expect Gridiron packs to arrive soon. Can we except the same quality of pulls this year? Likely! If the item limit is the same (3) as last year, buy all 3. They'll likely be 150k, but the quality of pulls will likely be good, so therefore you'll easily make your money back.

Madden Mobile Draft Champions
While the console version of Madden has had a huge success with the Draft Champions feature, many Madden Mobile players have wondered if the feature would come to their platform.
For those who are not aware of Draft Champions, it's a console feature that allows you to be a coach in a fantasy-like draft for 15 rounds. Using the fantasy roster you've built, you can square off against AI or even online players. The feature has been a huge success for platform players, and players have wondered how this would work for Mobile versions.
Well, first off. This would be difficult to pull off. EA has an inherent programming structure that is very frail. The tiniest of deviation from this structure can lead to game-breaking glitches as we've seen many times this year. Having a fantasy draft of all available cards would have to be on a roster completely separated from the already existing roster, like legacy event teams or temporary live-event players. This of course would only make sense in an inter-league match-up, but inter-league games do not really have any significant rewards in the game. So it would seem unlikely that EA would ever introduce this kind of feature. However, EA has surprised us all before, so never say never.

Madden Mobile Maintenance Underway
Many guests have asked us what the 'Maintenance Underway' sign means to the game.
Maintenance is a daily occurrence that takes place at approximately 6 am EST and aims at updating the coding of the game. However, maintenance does happen frequently unexpected. This leaves several players confused. This happens when EA is introducing new aspects to the game such as promotional events, cards, design or programming codes. The maintenance can also occur when EA has discovered a glitch and are patching the glitch.
So how long time does maintenance take? The daily maintenance usually takes about 10 minute to half an hour. New features or cards are usually introduced in the daily updates and can be done without further downtime. Glitches however can take an indefinite time to patch and therefore can be down anywhere from a few minutes to several days. The big glitch from last fall took almost an entire weekend, leaving players frustrated to no end.

Madden Mobile 17
Now that summer's upon us, we look forward to the scrap events of the Madden Mobile 16 season and forward to the Madden Mobile 17 season. We can expect a few events for the rest of the season which will introduce a few new, but likely insignificant, cards. The recent Rookie Premiere events signified one of the last events that EA will release before the new season start in about 3 months. Expect a 'last chance' event to cap off the season.
We'll be fielding some of the most frequent question we've received:
When will Madden Mobile 17 come out?
Expect it mid-to-late August, just before the NFL season starts. The Auction House will close a few days before the season ends.
What will that mean for my team?
Everything will be reset! Your cards and coins will be gone. However, you'll get to keep your Madden Cash, if any. Next season will likely re-introduce the legacy events in which you'll be able to play with your old team. EA might bring in a few newer legacy event types, but don't count on it.
Should i sell my entire team before the new season?
It really dosen't matter what you do at that point. Sell it or buy a whole new team. It'll all be gone anyway. The only reason to keep your team is for the legacy events which really don't have any significance anyway.
What should i focus on in the beginning of the next season?
A lot of easy coins can be made in the early parts of the season. Last season saw bronze trophies selling for 4-5k each and there were huge profits to made off these.

Madden Mobile Road to the Ring (RTTR)
Road to the Ring (RTTR) is a live event/set in Madden Mobile 16. By obtaining the necessary rings from the live events (and only from the live-events), the sets can be completed to obtain some of the Road to the Ring players. Here's the list of players:
- Ed Reed (94 S)
- B.J. Raji (91 DT)
- Heath Miller (94 TE)
- Reggie Bush (92 HB)
- Terrell Suggs (94 LB)
- Victor Cruz (93 WR)
- Drew Brees (94 QB)
- Greg Jennings (88 WR)
- Jacoby Jones (88 KR)
- Ben Roethlisberger (88 QB)
- Richard Sherman (93 CB)
- Bobby Wagner (89 LB)
- Justin Tuck (88 DE)
- Dont'a Hightower (89 LB)
- Malcolm Butler (87 CB)
- Adam Vinatieri (87 K)
- Marshawn Lynch (88 HB)
Now, many players experience issues getting a certain ring. This is due to EA programming a unequal distribution of rings. The rings cannot be sold or bought on the auction house.
So if you're having problems getting a certain ring, it's because EA is stacking the odds against you, and there's nothing you can do about it. So just keep trying until you get there and remember that your best shot is to try the ring re-roll set.

Madden Mobile Pack Simulator
Many players find that the best part of the game is the excitement of opening packs and the risk (and possible reward) that is involved. However, packs rarely give positive reactions as hey're rarely worth it. Many players fall into this trap by spending endless coins in pro-packs, only to be left with a bench full of useless items. The good news is that there's now a way to satisfy your urge of gambling by simulating pack openings. The Muthead Pack simulator allows you to open packs:

Madden Mobile: How to get Combine Players
We've been receiving a lot of questions lately about the combine players and how to get them.
It's pretty straight-forward. If you're looking to get Chris Johnson, ye ou're going to need the following combine players:
-Robert Griffin III
-Charles Johnson
-Jared Cook
-Bud Dupree
-Bruce Irvin
-Jason Kelce
-Brandin Cooks
-3 Elite Trophies
So how do you get these players? Well, each of them are set-specific and each of the represent an aspect of the combine events (etc. vertical jump, bench press). Get the collectibles from either packs (Combine pack: 70,000 coins), the Live event (check in daily to play the event) or by buying the players from the Auction house.
Here's the kicker: You won't be able to make Chris Johnson without buying certain parts from the Auction House. The event isn't long enough for you to get all the necessary parts from the live-events and you only have 2 combine packs to buy. The cheapest option currently is to simply buy a ready-made Chris Johnson on the Auction House for about 2,700,000 currently. The price is expected to fall during the week.

League Playoffs Explained
Here's a full overview of the very confusing League Playoffs:
All teams are eligible to play in the free play leading up to the Playoffs, but to join a division you can join with either 8 or 24 players. You can manage your lineup the first time that you choose to start a tournament, after that you will need to go into your league settings and change your 'default lineup' to have other players swapped in for future tournaments. Once the playoffs begin, the top 64 leagues in the 24 person and 8 person divisions will take part in the first round of playoffs.
Current League Ranking does NOT factor in. If you go into Leaderboards and scroll to the right from 'Overall' at the top, you'll notice that both are currently empty. As leagues progress, these will begin to populate; this is your standing in the tournament season. It will update tomorrow around 12:30 EST as the first tournaments of the season end.
Yes-- everyone in the league gets rewards. If you are in a 32 man league, and you enter an 8 member division, and win, all 32 members of the league will get the same rewards as the 8 who actually competed.
Rewards are as follows (copying and pasting, but I'm going to elaborate/clarify because legalese can make things unclear sometimes)
These are the top two prizes for the 8 man division (Division2):
Champion prize will be awarded to the top League. Each member of the League will receive one (1) Legend player item with a 96 Overall Rating, +1 Awareness attribute and +1 Speed attribute and one (1) Division 2 Champion Logo item. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) $0.
Runner-Up prize will be awarded to the League that did not win the Championship. Each member of the League will receive one (1) Legend player item with 94 Overall Rating and +1 Speed attribute. ARV $0.
These are the top two prizes for the 24 man division (Division1):
Champion Prize will be awarded to the top League. Each member of the League will receive one (1) Legend player item with a 99 Overall Rating, +2 Awareness attribute and +2 Speed attribute, and 1,000,000 coins and one (1) Division 1 Champion Logo Item. ARV $0.
Runner-Up Prize will be awarded to the League that did not win the Championship. Each member of the League will receive One (1) Legend player item with a 97 Overall Rating and +2 Speed attribute, 500,000 coins and One (1) Division 1 Runner-Up Logo item. ARV $0.
None of the prize cards are auctionable.
Rewards will be delivered the same way that League vs. League rewards are delivered now.

How to Block Kickoffs in Madden Mobile (Tutorial)
We've discovered an easy way to block kickoffs in Madden Mobile!
Here's the run-through. You'll need:
-A MLB with at least 85 in Speed and 91 in Acceleration in a 3-4 defense
-The opposing team needs to have scored on you
Here's the method:
-Let the opposing team score, do their celebration and it will take you to the defensive PAT formation selector. Don't select a play! Save and exit the game and go to Settings>Preferences and turn off Analog Stick, so you're playing with touch controls. Go back to the season game and select the play FG Block.
Now you should be seeing your FS standing behind your MLB. Tap your FS to switch to him, but do not touch the screen otherwise. They'll kick the PAT and they'll have to kick-off.
In the play selector for the kickoff, select Return Middle and you should now be in control of your LB.
Now keep tapping on the ball (even when the screen is turning). Your MLB should block the ball and recover it, and run it in. Easy as pie.

Why is MVP Gerald Hodges so rare/expensive?
We've been getting this question a lot: Why is MVP Gerald Hodges so rare and expensive?
Well, there's a good reason for that. EA had made an initial 32 cards for the release of the Road To The Playoffs promotion, but didn't realize that Gerald Hodges had been traded mid-season to the 49ers instead. When realizing their mistake, they replaced the set with Eric Kendricks after a day of the release. Many users, having realized this, started paying several millions for the card. Ever since then, there has only been a limited number of cards for trading, but the relative value has been far above the attributes.

Madden Mobile vs Fifa Ultimate Team: Comparison of Mobile Ultimate Team
EAs console staple has been centered around the two giants: FIFA and Madden. While both games currently dominate their respective fields, they've also become the front runners in the newest era of Mobile gaming. But while the two games have the same formats, they cater to widely different user bases and thereby also provide significant differences in gaming experience.
We'll have a look at the differences between these two games.
It is impossible to say which one is better, because it purely depends on the player. If you're a Madden Mobile veteran playing Fifa UT for the first time, you'll be astounded by both the graphics and fun of playing, but confused by the lack of sets and trading. If you're a Fifa UT veteran trying Madden Mobile for the first time, you'll find it boring for in-game play, but find the card collecting intriguing.
We'll have a look at the differences between these two games.
Players, sets and promotions
The two games don't differ so largely in this area. Both games have a large database of current players who are available for trading. However, Fifa does naturally have a much larger base of players from all around the world, while Madden is limited to the players of the 32 teams, free agents and former players. This has forced Madden to introduce several versions of the same players, such as Marshawn Lynch who currently has 5 cards. Both games have the same structure of bronze, silver, gold and elite/rare players.
Player upgrading differ a little bit. Madden has the bronze and silver player upgrades while Fifa has the player exchange, where the rarity of the reward is based on the quality of players exchanged.
Fifa dosen't include sets like Madden does. Instead, players are obtained through packs or the Transfer List. The sets do give Madden a new dimension in trading and collectibles.
The two games also do have differences in promotions. Madden has a lot of promotions based on time of year such as Thanksgiving, Breast Cancer Awareness and end-of-season Superlatives. EA caters more to on-field events such as Team of the week and Season finales.
In-game trading - Auction House vs. Transfer List
In-game trading is a huge part of Madden Mobile and is essential for the game experience. However, the complexity of the auction house dynamics can be very confusing for newer players and tends to alienate beginners. Veteran players have usually acquainted themselves with the auction house and know how to make a large amount of coins doing so.
In comparison, the Fifa Transfer list is much less user friendly, but is also a much smaller part of the game. The Transfer list can be seen as a way to fill your starting 11 or get the necessary players, but not for intense coin making.
Challenges - Live events and season games vs. Skill games and Single player season
Season games in Madden Mobile is a real killer, but also necessary for the best player in the game. It's by far the most boring part of the game, playing 19 games in a season. Fifa has a far better structure with several different leagues of difficulty and rewards, making the overall experience more exciting.
Madden does however provide far more live-events than Fifa has skill games. Fifa is limited to 3 skill games a day with certain restrictions for playing, while Madden has several live events daily and special live events weekly or seasonal. The Fifa challenges though are much more fun to play, as Maddens live events are limited to throwing, catching or running for a certain amount of yards.
The stamina system in the two games also vary. Madden Mobile has a stamina bar, where season games, live-events, Head-to-Head etc. cost a certain amount of stamina. Fifa dosen't have a stamina bar, but rather the players get worn out, injured or suspended with overuse.
Multiplayer games - Head-to-Head vs. Online Seasons
Head-to-Head has been an Achilles-heel of Madden too. The lacking turn-by-turn playing style can be very boring and has very little reward. Here Fifa does support playing other players, though the system is far from perfect. Mostly, there will be little delay or lag in multiplayer games, but it works and playing against other players is a huge advantage compared to Madden Mobile.
In Summary
The two games, while created under similar formats, do vary considerably. Fifa has far superior in-game playing options while Madden severely lacks in this area. Madden is superior in promotions, trading and collectibles. The real fun of Fifa lies in the playing while the real fun of Madden is in the collecting of cards.

NFL Honors Coin Making Strategy
We just got news about the Madden Mobile NFL Honors promotion with Cam Newton and Marcus Peters (Click here for article) being released. So how do you make coin from this promotion?
Well, let's look at what's going to happen with the promotion:
- Last year, the Players were only released for 1 day and in packs. We fully expect that it's the same format this year.
- The players were selling for an enormous sum all day.
So if you have a lot of coins (several million) you can either buy Cam mid-day when prices have stabilized, hold on to the card for some days or weeks and resell when the card will have a larger value. We do not expect the marked to be that big for Marcus Peters. Or else you can go pack crazy and hope to pull Cam. Remember that Cam will sell for several millions, so you can invest in many packs.

10-Trophy pack Drop Rates Explained
One of the strategies we suggest for newer players or players unwilling to spend time sniping elites is to buy a lot of gold and silver players for cheap and making them into 10-trophy packs. However, many players are discouraged from the strategy when they find that drop-rates are too low for a profit when trying a few times. Well, this can be true, but in larger volumes you'll start evening out the ratios of trophies. Based on a large volume of packs, we've evaluated what the chances for each trophy is for 10-trophy packs:
Lets look at an example of this. If we use the 10-pack distribution as seen above and take some arbitrary trophy prices on the Auction house.

Based on this, we can expect that paying under 1,700 coins for gold players will guarantee a very small profit.
Many people disagree with the numbers we've used in this calculation. The trophy prices are subject to fluctuating markeds and difference in peoples patience. However, this should be used as a tool for everyone who wants to predict profitability on the sets. Research how much you have to pay for gold players, how much profit you want and see if you're satisfied by the results.

Too many fumbles in Madden Mobile? Here's the fix
Many players have experienced problems with fumbling, especially in Season games and Head-to-Head (H2H) games. It can get very annoying, very quickly, if your HB or QB keeps dropping the ball. But there's a quick fix for that.
Firstly, many players experience fumbles when doing skill moves. This includes both trucking, spin moves and juke moves. The alternative to this is to aim for the sidelines. This will of course often result in getting less yards, but it also mean that you'll never fumble. You can also run your regular plays without doing the skill moves and hope the tacklers don't get you down, but you'll need a great RB for that.
For kickoffs, a good way to reduce fumbles is to either run out the sideline (you won't get much further than the 10 yard line, to take the touchback or to let it roll into the endzone before downing it. But remember, there's always the risk of the kicking team recovering if let it roll.

Running with the QB in Madden Mobile?
Here's a question we get a lot: How do you scramble or run with your QB in Madden Mobile? Well, we've got some bad new for you. You can't. Currently the only options for running with your QB is to select one of the two designed QB running plays, QB sneak or QB draw. Running with your QB is a feature that EA might implement some day, but due to the limited controls it would be very difficult to imagine happening soon. Running with your quaterback would be a fun feature, especially if you have one of the many good running QBs that are in the game. But having a fast QB is not a bad thing, since he'll be able to move around in the pocket a lot better compared to the traditionally slower pocket passers. This can help you a lot in head to head games, where it can feel sometimes that your offensive line can't block at all.
If you're a veteran player, you might also remember that i was previously possible to get a few yards by holding the stick forward when snapping the ball. However, this was made impossible in one of the updates.
